Please wish us luck. I have no reason to suspect I'll hear any bad news, Cindy is doing great.  Neverthless, I'm filled with anxiety.  Poor sweetie does not like going to vets...

Gosh, I somehow missed when she went for her FIRST treatment
.  How is she handling the chemo?  Any issues?  Are you having to give her any appetite stimulants or such?

that all goes well, especially the car ride

I'm happy to hear that Jill is doing good with her treatment.  What is she having the chemo for?  I hope she continues getting better and better.

Cindy is getting chemo for a mast cell tumor on her colon.  Long story short, vet felt a mass in her abdoment, and we were about two months getting a diagnosis of what it actually was (all kinds of tests).  Finally had to go to surgery, had a GREAT surgeon, he got the entire mass.  Now she's on chemo - Lomustine 10 mg - every 4 weeks.  So far she is doing really good!

She had her first chemo four weeks ago today - and she's been doing really awesome.  We had one little scare where she was vomiting and kind of hiding out in the corner shortly after her first dose, but we took her back to the eVet and they said she was fine and I was probably just over feeding her

So far she's been eating just fine, but I'm not sure how much of that was from the Pred.  We are stopping the Pred now, so we'll see.  She's already eaten a couple times since we got home.  She's drinking and using the litter.  She's active, and almost where she was before she got sick.  They said her blood work was good, and next time they'll do the complete panel.

I'm optomistic, but however this turns out, if nothing else, we've given her some more quality time with us and that was worth every dime it cost and more besides.
