Oh what a little cutie! Such big eyes! How old is Minxie? Welcome to TCS! You can learn as much as you want to know about cats on this site.

He is SOOO cute!! There is ALOT of info available on this site. Do you have any specific questions? Let us know more details ,like is he neutered ? Welcome to this awesome site! My first pearl of advice would be to keep him indoors only, lots of toys, and several times daily really play with him(with a dangling type toy) never your hands
Did you adopt him? He looks like a little angel.

My little Minxie was given to me a month ago by my friend who found him in his backyard. I think he is 2 or 3 years old...I'm going with 3 years old.  Minxie is not neutered...yet. I am going to call and make an appointment soon though. We both aren't sure whether he is feral or abandoned. He isn't used to people. It took him an entire month just to get used to me or even  get near me. He still hisses occasionally at me though. What I am hoping to find on this site is how can I help my Minxie and my dog Princess (Princess is my older chihuahua who has been with me for 10 years now) get along, understanding his meows/behavior, why he keeps hitting my hand when I pet him, and why he dumps his food in his water dish. It is a lot of things that I have in mind.

Minxie is a handsome fellow.  It sounds like you have already accomplished a great deal with him.  You may want to post in the Behavior thread for advice.  I know a cat that puts food in the water, too, though I have no idea why myself.  Welcome to TCS!  It's very nice to meet you.
