Does anyone know if there is a day(s) that a first time queen starts to get boobs??(for lack of better term.) My rescue queen is confusing me :) But today is the first day I noticed....more then just enlarged nipples. So I'm wondering if this is a "landmark " for first time queens??? I would like to be better prepared for labor if it's going to be sooner rather then later :) Thanks for the help!!!/// well for some reason I can't reply? But yes the kittens have been active for a while, I have a bad memory so I forget the dates and to write down info. Lol. Both my queens are nesting like they lost their minds. But on is on like her fifth litter so I wonder if she is doing things earlier? She has been having braxton Hicks for two or three days. And Snowbell is like a rock all the time. Yes the milk might becoming in, but I have not seen any. I just thought maybe sense they pink up in the 3ed week, there was a time when milk would come to? Thanks for getting back to me :)!!

Are you seeing/feeling the kittens move? Generally once you can you are about two weeks away from delivery. The nipples start to elongate much earlier (I think between days 22-26 but don't quote me on that) but it sounds like what you are describing is milk coming in, making them "full." If that's the case then you are probably really close- within the next few days. Although now that I said that I probably cursed you and you will be waiting weeks!

The waiting game is the hardest part, especially since you have no idea when she got pregnant. Hopefully she will exhibit some nesting signs to let you know she's close.

Hang in there!

Oh sure NOW it works >=-/ oh one other thing, they are at the stage when they are not so lovey anymore. Well at least Duchess is. She lightly reminds my 3 yr. old not to touch her for very long. And she was even being a little aggressive with me tonight. ??

Yeah, that happens. It is a combination of hormonal surges and the need to be protective. So it happens even their beloved Mom may get a swip or two.

Feel lucky your 3 years just got a gentle warning. Do praise her consideration with the youngs.

Good luck!

Lol thank you, and I do. She is normally in love with my toddler! Sleeps with her and when she starts to wake up or talk in her sleep she makes little high pitch meows, purrs to her and puts her paws on her. Treats her like a kitten. When she has bitten her it's a gentle hold that nearly leaves a mark. But she doesn't let go right away. Never hurts her. That is the only reason I trust my little one with her.
