I did when I was in college and before that, but once I graduated and got a full time job I got out of the habit.

I watch Corrie, too. It's a cannot miss show for me. Sometimes watch General Hospital but it has gotten so bad with the new "writers" that it is unwatchable at times. A good example was February sweeps which consisted of approximately 3 days of material that ran for the whole month; it was tedious and soporific.

Ha! "Eastenders" - wow. I've been watching since 1985, but, since our PBS station only shows two episodes a week, we're still back in Fall of 2004!!! But I'm trusting that the same people leave and come back. Sharon leaves, then comes back. Phil leaves (several times) and comes back, Den left for a long time and actually came back.

It's hysterical!

Other than that, I'm not really hooked on any actual soaps.

I don't watch TV very often. Whenever we decide to watch a movie together on TV, he says, pick our one you want to see the first fifteen minutes of. After that, I am asleep.:lol3:

I accuse many of my favorite shows (NCIS, CSI, etc.) of being soaps, particularly when they get too personal or have storylines that run on too long. But, no, no actual soaps.

There are 2 kinds of soaps here; daytime and nighttime dramas.

If you are talking daytime I use to watch General Hospital,All my Children and One Life to Live  I haven't watched since 2000. I use to tell my mom that I was sick to stay home and watch General Hospital.

Love corrie, eastenders, white collar and suits and their just a few....And yes,l have got a life!
I don't think White Collar and Suits are soaps! Except in the way I like to accuse primetime dramas of being soaps :lol3:. I like White Collar, but not Suits so much.

I used to watch Saint Elsewhere with my mom when I was small, and she called it her "soap". I should look it up and see if it was or just a primetime drama like most shows.

Their not, but recently we've had Suits on every night until we caught up with the latest series

The only soap we have on every day here is one, Emmerdale
