Yesterday I noticed a few houses on my street still have some Christmas decorations up. I get that there has been a bit of snow on the ground, so it isn't easy to take lights down, etc, but I am talking about brown, dried up Christmas wreaths and things that could easily be taken down.

I have a giant snowman on my front door, but I consider that Winter, not Christmas. I'll be switching that to an Easter bunny soon. :lol3:

So, do you still have any Christmas decorations up?

I packed up my Christmas tree before Christmas!  LOL

However, I do have a wreathe on the inside of my apartment door, but that is only because it seems to look nice there. The colours compliment my apartment, and without it on the door, all there is is a plain white wall with a brown door. Looks very sparse on that side of the room.  I do plan on taking it down though, when I get a small table and some pictures for the wall.

Gosh no, we take it all down before the New Year. I recently saw a santa hat on the floor in daughter's room, as well as a santa pot-holder mixed in with our regular ones in the kitchen so I put them away.

When we brought our daughter home from the hospital when she was born in April (in Massachusetts) there were still quite a few Christmas wreaths outside of people's houses. I don't know why there were so many left up for so long, they looked faded and kind of sad.

As a rule, we take our Christmas decorations down on New Years Day, both inside and outside, weather permitting. This past year, however, I think we left the living room Christmas tree up until the first weekend of the year....it was the last year for that tree and dear Richard was feeling nostalgic, I guess.

Ours always come down right after New Year's Day, but I noticed a neighbor had his Christmas tree up till mid-February!

I have a string of white lights up around the living room still.  I need a step stool to get them down.  They got forgotten when I took everything else down.  They haven't been lit though and the extension cord I use to plug them in has been packed away for months.  Oh well. I think it's one of those things that because they've been up so long now I don't notice as much.

I have seen Christmas lights up but not turned on. Last year all my decorations came down the day after New Years Day.This past year I had none up.
