Jasmine - Older Cat - 17 yrs old

             As of this morning Jasmine didn't want to move much.  She wants to lay on the floor, doesn't want to drink water or eat.   She had all her blood work done came back good.   I opened a can of tuna to she if she would eat that.  Just licked it.  She is on a special diet dry food for her stomach.      I pick her up and put her in the liter, she gets out,  She did vomit twice.  Gave her something for hairballs.  My vet is not open.   I'm watching her very close.  If she get worse then I would take her to an ER.    

            I just don't know. levels in blood where all normal, even kidneys.   When my pets get sick I feel sick

Hi Carol Lynn and welcome to TCS. You are definitely not alone when you say that you feel sick when your kitty is not feeling well. Such a worry. Seems our kitties seem to want to get ill on a day or holiday when our regular vet is closed. Tomorrow morning can't come soon enough, right?! Just passing along vibes for your Jasmine tonight.

Just wondering how Jasmine is doing today. 

Hi, hope your kitty is better by now. Can you give us an update. I wouldn't wait too long before seeing the vet if Jasmine is still not drinking or eating. Things can go downhill quickly when that is the case.

        Update on Jasmine

          Took her to ER,  her temp was down & heart rate.  I said I would take her to my vet in the morning.  Jasmine never made it. passsed away March 4, 2013 at 4:30 in the morning.    I held her when she took her last breath.  Went to my vet, has them check to see why she passed away.  She had Peritonitis fluid in her stomach due to leakage from her intestines.

 

Jasmine was beautiful. I am so sorry you lost her. When you feel like it, you might consider posting a tribute about her in our Crossing The Bridge Forum. I am now going to lock this thread. Hugs.
