OK, in his mind he probably wasn't giving a kiss, but that's precisely what it seemed like!
Tiramisu has a habit of running up to me when I come in the room and he waits to be picked up and cuddled. I was a little busy when he ran up to me tonight, so I picked him up and cradled him in my arm as I crouched down to take some clothes out of a drawer. He watched for a few minutes, as if I were revealing to him The Secrets of the Drawer, but then his body language indicated that he was ready to go on playing with our other kitten. I stayed crouched until he decided to go, and right before he hopped down, he pressed his mouth to my arm--no licking, no teeth, just a wet open mouth--for half a second, and then he was off to play!
My immediate first thought was that he was about to nibble me, since he's at the age where everything goes in his mouth, but when I realized he had neither licked nor bit the only other thing I could compare it to was a sloppy baby kiss! I felt as if he was saying, "OK you're great gotta go play bye!" And I just had to share it with people that would completely understand how awesome it was.
