Karou, Lola and I are new here

Hi all! I'm new to this site but have browsed many threads here while doing research. My husband and I have had pets since 1998, when we adopted two shelter puppies and a two year-old stray cat who had been abandoned. Sadly, we lost the cat and one of the dogs to cancer in 2012, and the second dog died just shy of her 15th birthday in January 2013. While there has been a great deal of sadness for us in the last year, we did welcome two new rescue kittens into our home in December, and they've been a delight! (And a handful, I had almost forgotten how much energy they have in their youth, LOL.)

Not the greatest quality picture of Lola, but it does capture her personality pretty well. She LOVES to climb. I finally had to break down and clean the tops of those cabinets in the utility room.

I've often wished I could hand my pussycats a duster when they do their climbing... it would make life a lot easier..

Thank you! And yeah, I joked with my husband that we need to equip Lola with a Swiffer outfit. 

Welcome to TCS!  I am very sorry to hear about your cat and dogs.  Bless you and your DH for taking in these beautiful kitties.
