When you go to the store, how much junk food do you buy ? Now I just asking for junk food here not drinks and such.

How much do you pay for it ?

What can/can't you live without ?

How tempted are you to pick that item up ?

I try to eat healthy, and if it's not in the house I can't eat it! :lol3: So I hardly ever buy junk food. Occasionally I need to allow myself a bag of Cheetos or something, but most of the time I resist.

I do NEED to have Edy's fruit popsicles, though. But that isn't really junk food, right? All that fruit. . .:tongue2:. They are fairly expensive ($3-$3.50 for a box of 6) but it's my only indulgence so I don't mind.

I try to avoid junk food but there are some special things I occasionally buy.  I have Girl Scout cookies right now.  Yesterday I went to Trader Joes and they had some rediculously overpriced maple walnut blondies that I couldn't resist.  They are the real moist ones but it was a small packet of four of them for $3.99.  That's good though because I can't get really stupid with them because they are too expensive.

We really do try to stay away from junk food, but every so often a pack of DoubleStuf Oreos finds its way into the cart (Rick's favorite store-bought cookie). Sometimes a box of Cheez-its will find its way home with us, too (my favorite snack...any flavor will do, but the White Cheddar is particularly tasty as is the Four Cheese....and so is the Parmesan. But I digress). And twice a year (on Good Friday and at Christmas) a large bag of peanut M & Ms will find its way into the house....I need them. Twice is year is all, but I need them.

I've been blessed with a lack of a sweet tooth and have never liked chips, etc., so "junk" is limited to an occasional chocolate bar or ice cream (which DH usually eats before I ever get to it :lol3:). I do eat crackers with cheese or peanut butter for breakfast or lunch, not as a snack.

I do sometimes.. not sure if sunflower seeds are a junk food but I eat them a lot lol. I used to eat ranch corn nuts also but don't now that I have had to have a lot of dental work done.

Sunflower seeds are very nutritious. One of my health books says they contain almost everything your body needs. Except vitamin C. Interestingly enough, if you sprouted them they would have vitamin C too lol. He said if he had to choose one "desert island" food for health it would be sunflower seeds.

So enjoy them
