Oh thank you!! I am amazed everyday that her owner was going to just throw her out. Her personality is as beautiful as she is! I'm so happy she is in my life! And I am so excited for her baby's to! They should go like hot cakes if the are anything like momma!

Lol that is very sweet of you, and I would almost die to have one! Your cat is SO, SO beautiful" I love her markings. But with my farm, 7 kids and my rescue....I'd never have the resources to fly over! Or your right I would!!! At this point I don't plan on keeping a kitten. The more cats I have the fewer I can save. But my sister is taking one and my daughter wants one as well. That will depend on if she gets her summer job.:) So Duchess has been barfing, but then she eats a little more an barfs again. I heard some cats do that in labor, but I don't think she is yet??

Ok so if a queen is going to "labor barf" would she do it before? Or during labor?? She eats and in a couple of minutes throws it back up, then gos straight away and eats again. Just to have it come up again. She is at the bowl for the third time!!! Could this be labor? Should I take the food away only leaving water???

I have never had a pregnant cat throw up before or during labor. I wouldn't take her food away. I think the only sure way to know whether she's in labor or not is if she's actively contracting.

She has been having contractions for 5 days now. Last night they were acting like labor getting closer and stronger. But after about two hours they went back to being every hour like they have been all week. She won't relax today either. Not running around, but sitting in a crouch position. Going from her nest to my bed, to her water and back again.

To me, it sounds like you might have kittens tonight.

she may be being sick cus she is contracting? i no before us ladies go into labour the day or 2 before we tend to empty our bowells ect so maybe its same thing? i would take her food away cus if she is you dont want her dehydrating. In my experiance when a cat has lost their plug im lucky that they have gone into labour that day x

Thanks, I did take the food away, if she isn't in active labor tonight ill put her food back. She lost her plug awhile ago :( same with Snow. She is open a little bit to, not much. She is acting different today so keep your fingers cross that my formula comes today!

Thank goodness everything showed up today! My starter kit is complete and I'm ready for some kittens! I looked it up and it's not uncommon for cats to throw up before labor. It's from the hormone levels changing to get ready for birth. And sense everything else is normal I'm not worried about it. Everything is quite for now ;)

Well if nothing else Duchess is getting Moody! She begs for a tummy rub but when I do she attacks my arm. She has never done that before. If I'm rubbing her tummy an she has a contraction, she acts like it's my fault lol. I think after more mad nesting she will settled down for the night! :) aww sweet sleep!
