It's so sad that things like this happen.  We don't know the circumstances of what the owner's "personal problems" are, but it's just such a shame they had to surrender their cat to a high  kill shelter

It is sad. Sometimes it is unavoidable I guess but often owners take the easy way out and dump pets at city pounds that have to accept animals for any reason. It is just too easy to do this and some people don't care about pets they have had for year. Too many animals are needlessly killed because people are irresponsible and do not feel a comitment to the animal's life.

Just heartbreaking and there are SO many cats in this same desperate situation. I hope this beautiful boy was rescued. He must have been so freaked out because the shelter commented that he needed to be sedated for his exam as he was aggressive, lunging and snarling in that cage. Probaby has no chance now after they put that on his comment card. That poor little guy. Breaks my heart :bawling: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Oh that is great news! I did read about his plight with much sadness. I'm glad someone rescued him.
