In my Avatar you can see the newest addition to the family. Bodie the 8 year old 13.5 lb Orange tabby. He lived with 10 other cats with a family member on a island. But he is a very people orianted cat and loves his new home where he gets more attention than he could have hoped for. He is VERY tolorant of the kids playing with him, and comes to cuddle with all new comers to the house. He spent 50% of his time at his previous home outiside. We live in a rural area so once the deep snow melts he will be able to explore outside here also. He is a great mouser, and comes when he is called EVRY TIME! I will admit I have always been a dog person with well trained German Shepards. However Bodie is the first cat I meet that I liked the personality of, and now we love him. He was a stray in NYC when he was rescued at 6 months old. He has changed this guys opinion of cats all together.
