Dollar Tree ,Dollar General Family Dollar or other  small stores  ?  (Walmart, Krogers  etc... not included )

Depends on what I need.
Same for me although I tend to come back with half the shop.

Like I went for bread a couple days ago I came back with bread buns, cheese, crisps, chocolate, onions, beef burgers (from the butchers 100% beef and no horse) and a bottle of wine as you do

I hardly ever pop out for just a few things. When I go shopping, I go SHOPPING. But the grocery store is quicker than Walmart, if I do need only a few items.

Depends on what I need.  There is an Albertsons a few miles away from where I live, and a Walmart about the same distance away in another direction.  If I can get the item at Albertson's that's usually where I will go, but sometimes I'll need to venture to the walmart (though I'm not overly fond of it, sometimes I do need to save money).  More often though I make full trips of it so I'll drive to Target or Kroger.

I try not to make those trips, if I can avoid it. I keep a tablet on the fridge to write things down for grocery night.

If I must have something I get it at Aldi or Wawa.  I really avoid unplanned trips to Shoprite as it turns into getting at least few other items then that one or two needed.

I live in a major shopping area. I live right next to a walgreens so if I need one thing I can pick up there that is where I go. I have dept. Stores, grocery stores and everything else on my street. I don't have any dollar stores as close so I don't shop there often. I like target for cleaning supplies and it is seriously right next to our development.
Walking always prevents buying extra stuff I don't need, probably won't work unless you live right by the shops like I do. Lol.

If you choose to walk and have to have just 1 or 2 things but come out of the store with more than you went for ,it would be hard for you to carry it all.

I do all of my grocery shopping at Safeway. I don't drive, so I don't just run to the store for one or 2 things. If I run out of something, I just do without it and pick it up when I'm next doing my regular shopping.

There is a small "corner" store at the end of my (short) street. And another a block or 2 away.  However, the one at the end of my street is very cluttered with all kinds of stuff in the aisles, and most of their stuff is months and even years past the best before date.  The last time I went there was about 8 years ago.  The one that is 2 blocks away is too far for me to walk.

Get one of those shopping carts on 2 wheels. I need one of those myself. They are about 15.00 at Family Dollar. Also good to pull to the laundry mat if it is close like mine is.

All the more reason not to buy more than I went in for :)

I take the car if I need to do real shopping.
