hi, i am tash and my lovely kitty is skully she is about 16 months old. we took her in as the lady who previously owned her was unable to look after her properly due to illness. she had told us skully was a boy....so imagine our surprise when we took him to the vets for a check up and discovered he was a she and pregnant too!!

Welcome to TCS! Wow, I wonder why she thought he was male.Did she just guess? I'm thinking she never took him to a vet since the vet would have told her the truth. Anyway, I'm sure Skully is happy to have found a home with you especially since she's about to give birth!

i dont know what she was doing with the cat to be honest, she was very vague when we asked for details of her vet...so we took her to a vet reccomended to us by a friend who has cats. im not sure what i am going to do with the kittens when they arrive (any day now)

skully is our first ever cat. i was thinking of getting her spayed once the kittens are weaned....it will be interesting to see what kind of temprament she has after the babies....hopefully she will be a bit less scratchy with my kids x

OMG, how CUTE! I can tell you through experience spaying her would be a GOOD thing, they are much calmer, no constant howling while in heat, and a cat we had had 3 sets of kittens, 17 in all, in one year! That's a lot of kittens to find a home for! Be careful though, one batch of kittens was only 4 weeks old when she became pregnant again, and only 3 months old when the others were born! Don't let her out of your sight until she visits the vet! God bless you for taking her in.

skully is on lock down....will not be leaving the house....we hope. we have 2 very lovely homes lined up for her kittens (they are willing to wait) and they have promised to get them spayed too.

we are keeping the ginger one my sons ahve decided to call him spike. this thank god is a good name.the guineapig ended up being called stitch the duke of wellington haha so it could have been much worse then spike xx
