Hello, or shall we say Meawo ? ^^

Hello everyone
I'm a new member here, I thought i'd introduce myself and my lovely cat "Sukara" which is the Arabic word for 'Sugar'
I was ailurophobic my whole life , up until last year someone in my neighbourhood wanted to throw her away, and the second i saw her i knew i had to have her, and all fear was gone , i got her on March 21st 2012 , Mothers day and ever since then she has made me a happy person and i've become a cat addict, a very proud one

I hope i meet other cat lovers like myself , and be able to help if i can , and get help if i ever need it

I'm a new member myself (since Dec.) and I can tell you the people on here are awesome! Welcome, and any questions,or solutions, you have I'm sure everyone will welcome. I'm so glad you can have a cat now, they are such wonderful creatures I can't imagine ANYONE not liking them, and if they don't, I really have to evaluate if I really want to associate with that person. The cats seem able to judge people a lot better then I do! It breaks my heart to read how people are so cruel to cats, I wish the laws would change to put these people away instead of giving them a slap on the hand. I have people here I work with and they are always telling me how much they hate cats, that alone makes me avoid and not trust them. I love ALL animals, cats a lot better, but I would never be deliberately cruel to any. Once again, welcome to the Cat Society!

They are wonderful indeed . I can't imagine my life without my cat. I'm planning on adopting another one, once im done with my exams
And yes you're right, it's is hard to trust people that 'hate' cats or animals in general. Specialy the cats! Most amazing creatures

Very glad to meet you. I am new here too. I have two cats. I have Jake my orange Tabby who is 2.5 yrs old, had him since 5 months and Patches a 1.5 yr old white and orange short hair I saw at a rescue adoption event and he choose me about 3 weeks ago. The cats are getting along well.

Skully is beautiful. I will post a pic of my boys.
