Hi! Well let me tell u a little bit about my kitten. His name is shadow but I am not too sure it will stay like that. He is extremely playful. He is always looking around being curious and adventurous. I got him yesterday and he is 6 weeks old (I know young) but he is doing great! He is the first kitten I've had and he is so fun. He is not much of a lap kitten like I'd hope but it's so much more fun watching him play and playing with him. He is huge! Specially for being so young. He also has a big tummy. I adore this little man already.

Aww, he is adorable! Welcome to TCS. I'm sure as he gets used to you and his new home, he will be more cuddly. He might still turn into a lap cat.

Thank u! Hopefully he does at least a little bit. I have a question. He bites a lot like his toys when we r playing he will bite them and sometimes my hand when I try petting him, is this normal? I've never seen a kitten bite before that's why I find it so odd. He does it in a playing way not aggressive.

Biting is pretty normal for a kitten, but you want to redirect him to a toy every time he bites your hand. He is playing, but especially since he's so young, he does not yet know how hard is too hard, and what's ok to bite and what is not. He would normally learn a lot of this from his mother and litter mates, but since he didn't get enough of that, you are going to have to train him. But it should be fun!

Also, he might be over-stimulated from petting which causes the biting, so you need to try to figure out how much petting he likes and stop if he shows any signs it's too much.

Thank u for answering my question it was very helpful. I've been doing that and I just take my hand away. The only time he let's me pet him is when he is sleepy or falling asleep. Other than that he wants to play and starts biting my hand.
