Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
If you have a cat (dog or bunny!) that needs sterilization, now is the day to to it! Many places around the US are having fantastic programs for low cost or free spay/neuter programs, for pets and ferals. :D

Here is the TCS article on the importance of spaying/neutering: http://www.thecatsite.com/a/spay-and-neuter-your-cats

And if you'd like to read another article about the importance of spaying/neutering, here's an excellent post - with a link to an article I've written on TNR, "Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): Effective, Affordable, Humane Community Cat Management."

Happy SPAY DAY!

YAY :woohoo: for SPAY DAY!!!! Today I noticed that a few vets had huge posters and signs out front of their building mentioning Spay Day and a low cost neuter clinic. :D Now, we just have to make this day "a day to last a year" :cross: It is a good day any day for Spay Day!!!!! So happy that this so important message has its own special day.:clap::clap::clap: :high5:

Laurie!! I just read your article on TNR. I hope you don't mind if I post it here as I think awareness is the key to spreading the good news about TNR and the benefits and positives to communities everywhere. Great, great work, hun. :hugs: :clap: http://catcentric.org/behavior-and-...e-affordable-humane-community-cat-management/ I just found a REALLY wonderful TNR organization fairly close to where we just moved. Of course, there is such a need almost anywhere you live. I am happy to have found a place to volunteer and offer my assistance to cats in need.

SPAY NEUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and make the world a better place for our beloved pets.

p.s I got a big smile when I saw that you used Kohl as a model for a couple of pictures in your article. Love that little mischief maker. :rub:
