After walking around Beamish again yesterday in the snow....

When was your last random day out and what did you do?

I guess Saturday......Rick and I had to run errands on Saturday morning (banking, gas, etc.)

My boss had given me a nice gift certificate for Christmas last year; it had to be used in town. Hadn't used it yet and it was burning a hole in my pocket, so we went into Barnes and Noble in town and I bought two America's Test Kitchen cookbooks.....one is their "Light" cookbook and the other is from the Cook's Country TV show.

Then off to Lowe's for water softener salt and to the mall (didn't buy anything).

We had been looking for a car for a month now(ready to buy last 2 weekends)  WE BOUGHT A CAR:)  a 97 honda.  It was really a blast minus a few idiots and a trip to Philly that seemed to take hours as traffic/lights is jsut to much for my taste

Yesterday, we were out and about looking for ceramic tile ideas for the vestibule and kitchen. Then I took my hubby to the local humane society to see where I will be volunteering. He was just as impressed with the cleanliness, kindness and care of the animals as I was. :wavey:
