Here's my little feral Star. Haven't posted a pic of her in a long time. She LOVES her enclosure house heater!! (and I do too). It does not get hot and so they can sit on it, touch their noses to it and remain safe. I keep their house 66 degrees at all times. Their house is so well insulated that it has only raised my electric bill $10.00. It is soooo worth it for my peace of mind. They are all nice and snug. They have a queen size mattress covered with three blankets and their water never freezes.
I am finally content and not worried when they are outside.
All my kitties are doing great except I lost one two days ago which was one of the most heart wrenching experiences I have ever been through. I took her to the vet to to get some antibiotics or maybe get her a laxative as her belly area was swollen. As it turned out she had a full blown case of FIP. The vet said she was not contagious to the others but my heart is broken. It was little Princess Minny Pearl. She was Jimmy's favorite. The vet said it was the first full blown case he had ever seen. So we are still recovering from that. Being busy with the others the last few days has helped. I vacuumed their house out today, washed their covers and fed them special snacks.
Here's little Star taken today.
