Here's to the cats who love shoes!

Shoes have become one of the most fascinating objects in our kittens' room. When we come in the door, they often run right over to sit on our shoes (still on our feet!) and if we happen to take them off and leave them on the floor, they are destined to be chewed on, scratched, climbed all over and crawled inside, and sniffed. I guess they are shoe connoisseurs.

Oh, too hilarious. Mines loves shoes too but mostly just to scent mark. She does sometimes sit on my feet, shoes or no.

Their love affair with shoes continues. We are being vigilant about not letting them play with them (except the one pair that's allowed). Surely these two aren't the only cats with this quirk?

My two both love worshipping my slippers when I kick them off in front of the sofa.

I can just imagine both of these scenarios!

Larry likes to lie on top of my flip-flops. And, recently, he's made a "nest" in the closet, in amongst a pile of shoes. I sometimes look in there and he's got his head resting on a sandal, and the rest of him is all curled up on a pile of shoes that he seems to have "arranged". :lol3:
