Kitten is not a big fan of Wellness CORE Kitten Food

Hi all!

I have recently been transitioning my kittens food from Purina Pro Plan (this was the bag they gave us when we adopted her) to Wellness CORE for kittens. I have been gradually adding more and more Wellness so it can replace the Purina Pro Plan food entirely and she's been eating it okay when it has been mixed in. Now that the Purina Pro Plan food is all gone, she doesn't seem to be a big fan of the Wellness brand :( She sniffs at it, nibbles a bit here and there, but won't gobble it up with yumminess like the Purina Pro Plan dry food. I would hate to have to mix more of the Purina Pro Plan food as I want her to be eating grain free and healthier food.

Have any of you had an issue like this before? Is there another healthier, not-so-expensive brand that you would recommend to mix in based on your cats popular vote?

OR, do you guys thinks he's just being picky now but will eventually get used to it?

Please note that we also give her Wellness wet food for kittens in the evenings as a treat and she LOVES it.

Any tips and/or recommendations are appreciated! :)

If it's within your budget, I would recommend giving her all wet food and cutting out the dry completely. You can read about the reasons why here:

Thanks for the tip! I would love to but unfortunately my budget is not very flexible :( I will definitely save this link though for future reference, thank you again!

I've seen Blue Wilderness, and I think, like you, I walked right past it because of the Lynx in the front!  I'm going to give it a try and do a mix with it because ultimately I'd like to keep her on Wellness (she actually ate a lot more of it this morning!)  I also can't afford only wet, but I do want to keep it as part of her daily diet :) Thanks for the tip, I'll let you know how she likes it!
