Lots of
to you as you go through this...

A lot of my students have been through chemo and it's amazing how the doctors are refining and learning all the time.  The side-effects seem to be a lot less over the years.

My mother in law had breast cancer and passed away in 1988. i miss her alot but one thing,my husband didn't cry. He says she was sent to a better place and she is out of pain. but I was wondering why men don't cry ?

Take care

 Hon, many
 and
and prayers for you for this to be an easy treatment.  My best friend had to have a mastectomy  in 2006, underwent chemo and radiation both, and she is cancer free and dreading her son graduating from college and leaving home. She is just fine now, and you will be too. Its a tough road but you have the strength to do it, and we're all behind you!

I'm sorry to hear about your Mum, dejolane

Luckily things have come a long, long way since then.

I have three students that had their cancer treated over five years ago and have been told they are completely clear and have been for some time.  Two others are at the two year mark. One is just going in to treatment.    I have one Japanese student who lost her hair through chemo and now has a head of the most radiantly curly hair you could imagine.. she thinks it's hilarious as Japanese women have very straight hair.

Sending you loads of
