of course in your case its a meow in the morning ,Keep it up chance

every time one of my cats are sick and i go to baby them and when they just lay there no movent my heart drops of course i start petting them a little and they well jump in the air its a majer relive when that happens

You are being so good to your Chance, I know he loves you very much and I'm sure you never want to lose him. I'm also happy you have this time with him, love and cherish it. Thankfully it doesn't sound like he is in pain at this time. I'll pray for you both, please know you are not alone. Please give Chance a kiss from all of us and know we are all here to share you pain

 I'm just reading this and sending some your way.  Let's hope Chance keeps up his healthy appetite and meows to let you know he's hungry , and that he stays pain free

My boy is still with me.  Loud and clear this morning asking for his food.  He is getting more used to me medicating him, but is still very scared.

My happiness that he is eating still, is tempered by the fact that each day has a number on it.

Yes, trying not to count the days is hard. But the most important thing is, Chance is happy, still eating, still loving. I know you are cherishing every moment with him.

Just saw this and am very sorry, hun. Chance is a beautiful boy. So hard when you know that day is coming. I do hope you have some joyous days still to share with Chance and that he keeps up this wonderful appetite!! :rub: Sending loads of prayers your way this morning. :rub:

He is still loving his food.  His poor little face is so swollen and his eye has disappeared.  Once in a while I can see it though.  He does not seem to be in pain.  He sleeps with his buds and is right there when I feed them.

He is such a gentle boy.

Oh hun! As the others have said, one day at a time.... :heart2: Each day he's enjoying his food is a blessing and to be treasured now. I'm sure he'll let you know when he's ready to go (and it feels terrible to even have to say that, but in the end, no matter the pain, we hope we'll out live our babies.... ). Obviously he's so very, very loved, and he's still enjoying that. :rub: :heart2: :heart2:

Again, thank you for your words.  Everything is the same here.  I am giving him all the food he wants.  He is now getting treats of the more expensive foods.  Blue Buffalo yesterday.  All his buds want to get in there and help him eat it!

I wish we would get a nice day so he could go out in the enclosure and watch birds and squirrls.  Don't think that is going to happen.  He loves his heated disk tho.
