Every morning Tony wants his Fancy Feast. He used to start banging on the bedroom door at around 6 am. Since then it's become 5 a.m., and for he last 2 mornings he starts knocking at 4 a.m. And he won't quit! Good thing I love him!

Keep the bedroom door open and he won't bang on it.

Hard to do because then all three will be in and out all night. And tony comes in the bedroom, opens closet doors and vanity drawers. He likes to break into everything.

I hear you, Lana. Bootser has been meowing for the last five years or so, starting around 3:00 in the morning. I can't tell you when the last time was I had a decent's night sleep....it's been a long time. I've gotten to the point where, as soon as she starts in, I kick everybody out of the bedroom (except for Mollipop because she goes right back to sleep) and shut the door.  I can still hear her, but it's not quite as bad.

Abby is an early riser also. Once she wakes us up, she goes back to sleep. :lol3:

He did it again this morning --- a bit before 4 a.m. Then after he finished his food he started banging again because he wants to come in and sleep on our new comforter. The cats absolutely LOVE our new comforter.

My cats know better than to wake me up at that time.  Occasionally they try, but I completely ignore them. I do not open my eyes, pet them in anyway; I completely ignore them.  Eventually they get tired and leave me alone, and eventually they get the hint that their antics won't get me out of bed any sooner than I want to.

They know that when I get up out of bed, that they get their food, not before.

He usually uses his paws - he's a big cat with big paws. But we also have a plastic runner outside the door the protects the edge of the carpeting - carpeting is in the bedroom, tile outside. So he bangs the door but also pulls the plastic runner back and forth to make as much noise as possible.

I like cats with big paws. Must be a big sweet cat.

ok - it's getting earlier all the time!! Last night he started knocking on the door at 2:30 a.m. But this time I just ignored him He eventually stopped, waited an hour or so and banged again. I ignored it again and I guess he got the message. I got up at 6:30 a.m., give them their Fancy Feast and all were happy again. But I think Tony was actually mad at me. He give me the silent treatment for a while! But now all is forgiven and forgotten --- until tomorrow morning. Let's still what time line his tummy is on then.
