Favorite place for a date

Either it was with a old flame or your Boyfriend- girlfriend /husband -wife now tell us where is your favorite place to eat,party, whatever . Or do you prefer to be alone on your date or just a night in with candles and a little yada-yada ( from Steinfeld)

I think I would love to go to a elegant place to eat like the old Kahiki but isn't there now.  And then maybe to a night club and then to a hotel for the night. We went once before and it was a blast. And now there is a place called The Old Spaghetti Warehouse in Columbus, Ohio which I would love to go back again.

I have to cast my mind back quite a way, dejolane, and it was always a tropical island...

In my early 20s I had a mackeral dory (small fishing boat) and would go out to the Great Barrier Reef with a bigger boat, living on it and fishing the reefs in my smaller boat, which was towed behind (it was a way to see a wonderful part of the world and earn a living at the same time). 

I was involved with a lovely guy who was doing the same thing, but on another boat.  We would occaisionally both be anchored off one of the islands, and we would go ashore with a picnic.  They were deserted islands in those days, and very beautiful..

I don't think I can beat that.

Hmmm....my favorite date would be horse back riding. I haven't done that in years since an old BF took me. I love horses (and DH knows that) but, it just never comes up. Now that would be a nice surprise.
