Way back in the day the Prom was a big thing and today is too. I wanted to know if you went to your Prom, with who,how was it etc...

I guess I have to 'live'' through those who went cause I didn't graduate and had a nice Prom. I think I probably wouldn't have went anyway. I quit school in the 10th grade to get married and I moved in with my husband on the other side of town. I regret it so much and so did mom & dad.

I'm working on my GED now. Has to be this year cause next year the price of a GED goes up.

I went to my junior prom with the guy I dated for the following two years.  We went with some of our friends and it was enjoyable I suppose.  The next year we went to the park with a net to scoop abandoned disc golf discs from out of the creek.  We were not particularly successful in that endeavor, but we weren't big dance people so I do not regret it.  I went to another high school dance on a date with a friend, and another with some other friends.  The one with the date was ok, but the other was not at all enjoyable.

I did get asked to the senior prom, but I politely decline. I didn't have/want to spend money on a dress I would only wear once.  That was many many years ago, and I never had any regrets about it.

Well, since I was pregnant during my prom
, I didn't make it. But Rick and I did go to my post prom and had a pretty good time. I've never regretted not going to the prom.

I was homeschooled so I didn't have a prom. . .but I wouldn't have gone to the prom even if I did go to public school.

I got my GED, too. It's not too hard (I thought), hope you pass it easily!
