Sooo, Willow in my estimation is about 65 days (give or take a few days), babies are moving lots, I can see them moving, she is sleeping lots but when she is awake she is jumping on the window sail, I've tried to discourage but it's one of her favourite spots. I have made the spare room upstairs her room, nesting box, food & water , litter box etc but there is also a nesting box downstairs and I've made a few extra places cosy for her, we don't have a busy or noisey house, no children just me & my partner, but she doesn't seem to be choosing a place other then the sofa in the lounge, she has had lots of twitching and not eating the amount she used to too, her nipples are large but haven't filled up with milk yet, is this bad?. I thought she would be nesting now? I know she will have them when she is ready but been new to this I get worried very easy!!. I have everything ready. I'd like your thoughts & opinions, I was going to take her to the vets, but my partner said he thinks I'm jumping the gun abit and to leave her a little longer before getting major worried. Opinions & guidance would be great please xx

I agree with your Dearest. It is a waiting game, no point to stress her up by taking her to the vet, unless she is apparently ill.  And she doesnt seem to be ill, if she even now manages to jump to the window sill   :)

Phone the vet instead if you wish to have the vets opinion, she will prob tell you the same. The vet will know what follow up questions to give.

Good luck!

Haha funny enough I've just come off the phone from them, yeah they said not to worry, from what I described to them she is fit & well & very spoilt by having a mummy turn her house upside down making sure she has lots of comfy places to choose from :-). They said if she goes another week & a half max without going into labour to take her straight in, because our estimate would then make her 70 days. Me & willow are having lots of conversations today, she must be trying to tell me to calm down haha she is giving me cuddles, you'd think I was the one carrying the litter not her!! Haha. Thank you Stefanz :-) it helps a lot to have calming words :-D xx

Cats all behave slightly differently. Some sleep for 24 hours before giving birth, some don't eat for a day, and milk can come in any time from 3 days before to just after. Do be prepared - it is a good idea to get a nursing bottle and some Kitten replacement milk from the vet or pharmacy in case the kittens are not getting enough. But in the vast majority of cases everything goes well and the moother copes just fine.

Yeah I bought nursing bottles & milk not too long ago incase the worst happens. She looks fed up lol, she came meowing at the bedroom door at 2am this morning, so I got up with her & went downstairs and she jumped on my knee & lay there just looking at my face & I felt so sorry for her! :-(, so wish I'd have gone with a different vet months ago & got it done sooner rather then later then she wouldn't be pregnant & fed up now!! :-( xx

Nope, nothing yet, she has had popping/bubbling this morning, restlessness, very clingy and the babies seem to have moved further towards her bottom! So I'm thinking soon, although I'm on nightshift for the next 4 nights & coaches my partner it what he might need to do & who ne needs to ring if things don't go well, so I bet she will have them when I'm not there :-( xx
