Posted earlier. But to sum everything up. My cats milk came in almost 3 days ago now, she has been sleeping alot more than usual and she was just sleeping but woke up, and she sat there with her back tensing up/spasming out and she had a discomfort look on her face. Then, she took a small bite of food, and went back to sleep. She has to be 9 weeks and she is huge! She stays in my room, with her food/water and litter box and a comfy nesting box (but she doesnt even seem to have any interest in it) . So, was the back tensing a contraction? could she be close? How do i get her to use her box?

Yes, it was surely a contraction.  If a precontraction, or the real thing, we cant know for sure as yet.

I believe she will use for birth what she choose to use.   :)

Good luck!

that said, some precontraction, but otherwise she is fine, is OK.

But if it going into long unfruitful labor, is entirely different thing. If so, contact a vet.

good luck!
