I'm back! Kitten season again :/

Rescued my first pregnant stray of the year. She is HUGE and due any day i'm assuming, babies are moving around like crazy!! Took her off the streets Tuesday night. She's the sweetest thing ever!

I'm thinking she'll have right around 6. Just the waiting game now. Will keep this thread updated and post pictures of the new arrivals when they come!

Lovely cat, like the way you can see ginger patches on her coat.  She does look large, so many more kittens when there are already far too many.

Think I've seen more 'my cat is pregnant' posts of late as well.

Yeah, it's very sad :/ Overpopulation is insane in my town- cats/kittens EVERYWHERE. And recently we've had a horrible string of animal abuse in town as well so I definitely couldn't leave her to have her babies on the streets! She definitely was dumped- she is the sweetest thing in the world. After the babies are weaned she will be getting spayed and hopefully find a Furever Home of her own!

Thinking tonight may be the night! She's been having some weird body twitches and tensing up every so often. We'll see!

Any news today?

Must've been a false alarm, stayed up until 3.30 in the morning with her then woke up this morning, still no babies! They'll be coming SOON though- much longer and i'm afraid she'll burst!!! Lol

She's gorgeous... those are going to be some colorful kittens I bet! Keep us updated!

My last foster litter was in August, so I've taken a break but am totally ready for kittens again! Especially after seeing everyone's posts!

Okay, so- she's doing great. But the past two nights i've noticed almost clenching like movements and tensing from her over and over. I'm just wondering do kitties get braxton hicks contractions like people? Or should I be worried? She doesn't seem stressed one bit (other than meowing at the sliding glass door occasionally to be let out even though she's not allowed outside anymore- I can tell she misses it) and she doesn't seem in pain. No blood or any other type of fluid from her lady bits. Babies are moving around like crazy and look as if they'll burst through their skin. My first thought seeing the movements were contractions- but it was kind of her muscles tensing and shaking, so i'm wondering if maybe it's just pain from all the babies moving around and kicking her? Because there's a lot in there and they do somersaults constantly- I feel so bad for her, poor mama. She's completely skin and bones underneath her belly too, you can feel her hips so prominently as well as her spine!

Also- she's missing a nipple. It has the aereola, but no actual teet. Wondering if she was born that way or if maybe it got bitten off or something? Who knows. She's getting milk in her bottom teets so we'll probably have kittens pretty shortly!

Here she is, photos taken about 10 minutes ago. She's taken a liking to my treadmill lol, I assume she'll give birth on it since that's where she ALWAYS is.

I don't know the answers to any of the questions... just had to say that she's HUGE! The poor girl! I'm interested to see how many are in there!

Well... I think she is in labor. LOL. She has me second guessing her constantly!!!! It has to be SOON though, I swear she's having mini contractions.

False alarm again I guess! I really thought she was having mini contractions, they were like before but getting stronger. She's really upset about not being able to go outside so I feel she may be delaying labor because of it. Or maybe she's waiting until my days off- that would be nice! Not too sure. Will definitely update once something happens!!

Well, it HAS to be any time now! Can't wait to see her babies

#3 is a little black and white baby!! She's poppin' 'em out like crazy!!!!
