new on the block

I just found this website by accident.  I have 2 (boys - brothers) that have literally brought so much joy in my life.  I was anixous alot and so I went on a pill to help with this and suddenly I was so calm that I gained alot of weight........which in turn caused me to be anixous.  LOL So my doctor asked if I had any pets.  I did not.  It was suggested that I get a cat.  Well, my daughter's cat was having kittens.  I was there for thei kittens birth and everyday after that until I could bring my boys home.  They are orange tabbies.  One week after bringing the boys home I stopped the pill.  Now they are going on 13 years old. I have never been so anxious that I have ever resorted to taking an anixety pill again.  Cats are amazing and such wonderful companions.

That's great! I too always found my kitties calming after a rough day at work. Unless of course Monet makes a mess.. Lol.

Hi, welcome to TCS!  Your boys look almost like twins.  I love me some red kitties.  It is amazing that you were there for the birth.
