That is a lot of damage! You are such a talented photographer though - the pictures are beautiful!

So far, in NW Indiana, NO SNOW!!! I actually love your pictures, they are beautiful, but sorry about the damage. :hugs: I know it was a terrible blizzard and all, but I just love snow and love the peaceful aftermath of a blizzard and the beautiful blanket of snow everywhere.

I'm so sorry about your damage, but geez, woman, you take some beautiful pictures!

We might have gotten 4 inches of snow from the blizzard....we were lucky to have dodged that bullet.

How's the roof now? Hopefully after a week things have settled down, but I know the northern East Coast really got pounded in that blizzard.

I only took a few photos. We got 40cm total and it took us 5.5 hours total on the Friday to shovel & plow it all. This is what it looked like out the window at lunchtime:

The neighbour's snow guys finally came the next day, at least 12 hours later than everyone else. The were super awesome, getting stuck in the snow and running over our shared lilac tree. In the process of getting out they shoved a huge pile of icy, heavy snow in front of our driveway. So we had to get out the plow again to unblock it.

But at least we did get out and enjoy the lovely deep snow and brilliant sunshine:

All in all I'm happy to have some snow. Just wish it didn't all come at once!

Nice pics, Wendy! There is still plenty of snow outside, but a lot has melted. They are calling for another 5-7 inches tonight.

Aaron was able to bend the flashing down so it is closer to flat and at least is a temporary fix. I've contacted the insurance company and we need to call a few places for estimates, but haven't done it yet. I don't think many places are going to want to check out the roof in the snow.

No blizzard pictures here. We did get a dusting here in NC last night though.
