Dusting is hard. I have dust allergies, so I don't like to do it very often. But luckily the place I'm living now has a lot less dust than our last apartment, so it doesn't build up as fast. (The dust in our last apartment was also BLACK... it was creepy and weird!)

There are definitely some chores I like less than others. I would pick garbage or litter duty over doing the dishes any day. I mean, taking out the garbage is very fast, and it's sealed up in a plastic bag. And when you clean a cat box, you're doing it with a scoop or something. But having to hand-scrub the grime off dirty dishes that have probably been sitting in the sink for a few days or even a week... eeuugh! Never, never! :p

But I am very fortunate that my mother feels the opposite about the same chores--she hates dealing with garbage/litter but doesn't mind dishes. So most of the time, she does my least favorite chores and I do hers.

Like I said before, it's just me and my husband here and if I don't do it, it doesn't get done.

folding laundry is the worst household chore. everything else, i just use vinyl gloves so it's easy. cleaning the curtains is a pain to do on my own --i ask someone to help me with that

I don't mind cleaning at all to be honest. I get lazy to do my cat's litter box, but I always make sure I get it done.

If there is a section in my apartment that I detest cleaning, then its most likely the bathroom. Lol.

Other than that, it just takes a little motivation to get me started and in good to go once I got some momentum in!

How often do you do laundry ?  I do it  when I run out of towels I have more washcloths than towels. It is only my husband and me I just don't see how it piles up so fast with 2 people.

Once I decided how long I could go without actually doing laundry. This did not include dry cleaning etc. I made it 3 months but I had to cheat and buy extra towels and wash cloths.

I do at least one load of laundry a week.  Towels I do when I get enough for a load.  I don't mind doing laundry, but I have to be in the right mood to fold and put away.  I hang up shirts and pants to air dry, and pull everything else out of the dryer or, if DH wants to do his laundry or I want to do another load, I'll toss them in a basket in the closet.  I do fold and put away every so often, when I get tired of digging stuff out of the basket.

Mike!!! :lol3:

I don't mind laundry except I have to climb 5 flights of stairs to do it. Ironing on the other hand just never happens. Unless I'm going out and want to wear sometime that's crinkled, that iron stays hidden, languishing unloved in a forgotten cupboard.
