Cats are pregnant for about 9 weeks, and if she's 10 months old now, 1 year and 1 month would be 3 months from now. . .???

There are always concerns with pregnancy and birthing, for any female. I'd suggest working closely with your vet so she gets the proper prenatal care and you'll know what to do in case of an emergency.

She will be young to be a mother, but not a baby. It is terrible when 6 month old kittens get pregnant (and it does happen) because they are like 12 year old human girls - neither their minds not their bodies are ready for it and things often go badly wrong. You will need to supervise your cat carefully as sometimes first-time mothers don't know what to do and can abandon their babies or hurt them in some way. Weigh the kittens to be sure they are gaining weight every day, as she may not have enough milk for them. AND keep them all somewhere quiet where momcat can give them all her attention.

But certainly the first step is to get her looked at by a vet, to make sure she is in good health to give birth. Then follow the vet's advice as to feeding and care. we will always be on hand to answer any practical questions you have before and after the birth - we have all been through it, and it is scary the first time, for both cat and owner. Good luck.
