Took in a stray- is she pregnant?

These horrible people moved and left this poor cat to fend for itself- I had been feeding her everyday anyways, so I took her in.  She has a vet appt on Monday, but today I noticed her nipples look weird- do these look like the nipples of a pregnant cat?  Thank you so much-

I would say they do.

You can still spay her, if it is your wish. So early in the pregnancy it isnt difficult.

Is it possible she already had the kittens before you took her in and she was nursing ?    I was afraid I had done that when I trapped a female about 6 weeks ago, but it turned out she was pregnant and had the kittens two weeks ago, in my shop office, where they now are living.

Yes, I think she did.  Around Dec 25 I took a pic of her eating on my deck, and she appears to be fat- I never saw that cat again, I wondered what happened to her, but I compared pictures and it is her- so she did have kittens.  What happened to them, I can only imagine.  So bt jan 2 is the next pic I took of her and she was skinny- is it possible between Jan 2 and now she got pregnant again?  I have 6 other cats, all rescues and spayed, and I touch them alot, but with her, her belly feels different then the rest, so....

Yes, it is possible. But it needs some squeezing, as it takes several days after delivery and coming into heat again, and it takes about 3 weeks to the tits to redden up.

Unfortunately it is very possible she could have got pregnant again after having kittens at the end of December. They can sometimes get pregnant again even while still nursing. maybe even more likely if the kittens died very early.
The nipples could be a sign of pregnancy. If you have been seeing her every day, were her nipples a few weeks ago even more prominent and the hair removed around them? ( from nursing the previous litter, whatever happened to them. )
Or had they gone back to being more flat and a paler shade, but recently they started looking like this? If the latter then there is a good chance she is pregnant again.

Anyway, you can get a better idea of what's going on at the vet and decide from there what to do. It would be hard on her body to have kittens again so soon. It may still be early enough the vet would do a spay/abort. If she is pregnant and you don't want to abort the litter, she needs to start transitioning to a high protein high calorie kitten food or "all life stages" food, and at least some of her diet wet food. ( actually the part about a high protein wet diet is good for most cats. and for nursing cats the wet food part is even more important to help keep them well hydrated)

Yeah, no way I can abort them.  I honestly thought she had gotten fixed and thats why her belly appeared shaved to me, but then would people who abandonded her really take the time to have her fixed then split a few weeks later?  I never really got a good look to compare before, but when she would give me her belly on the porch I never noticed the nipples, until yesterday.  Good thing is I have homes lined up with very good people and thanks for the dieting tip, I have her in a bedroom so she can rest and catch up on sleep- I have had to teach her to use a litter box.  She is such a lover.  I just do not understand how people cannot have a heart and just goon with their lives knowing they abandonded an animal.  I shutter to think what happened to those other kittens.
