Just being a State away from you (Colorado) I paid $1.51 at a cheap crappy gas place all the good places are still at about $1.55.

Yeah, I remember about a week ago of paying $2.17/gallon. *sigh* This is the kind of c*&p that makes me hate CA (otherwise I do like it here).

In New Jersey, where I work, it's about $1.68. But in New York, where I live it's over two bucks!!!! That's just obscene!

Gas is at $1.50/gallon here in Marquette, but it seems to be cheaper in lower Michigan.

You guys pay way less than Ontario. To use the highest price of gas example from this thread:

$2.20/gallon = approx. 81 cents/litre in CDN$. 81 cents/litre was around the average price we were paying all summer!

And the the highest gas prices were in the 90 cents per litre range!!!! Be thankful you don't drive a car here.

Just being across the city from you in Lakewood, it's running about $1.59-1.65 for regular, $1.75-$1.79 for midgrade (what we fill up with). The cheapest I've seen on this end of town is the $1.59, average is $1.63. I wonder what the difference is just that close to each other???

In this area, the best I've seen is $1.69 a gallon, and this is outside the city of Seattle/King County...I'm sure it's worse in the city (though I may be wrong).

Oh stop complaining about the price of gas - mine costs me about 80 pence per litre up to a British pound - thats - 1.75 US to the £ - and therefore, a gallon costs me about £4.0 - in your terms - thats - well too tired to do maths at this time of night.

A full tank on my laguna costs me £46 now x 1.75 and thats what it costs me to fill my 2litre baby.

Sicycat and hissy

I'm in San luis Obispo county - one of the way-to-expensive places to live in the state - even the rents too high. Ugh. As soon as I build up enough to move I am(though its a beautiful part of the state).

Hissy - I know where Westminister - Orange County is.
I lived in Westchester for a few years taking care of my grandfather before he died.

Sicycat - I have two cars - one takes regular and the other takes Premium. (Yesterday it was around $2.30 for Premium.)

Hey, Kev, when I lived in Germany during the first Gulf War it was DM4.00/litre. I about gagged on that when I figured out how much that was in US$/gallon.

Back then it was DM2/US$1, so that's $2/litre and at 3-4 times that for a gallon? GACK!!!!
