Be safe....especially those of you in the northeastern US.

From what the weatherweenies are saying, this one is going to be downright ugly. They're still not sure exactly what we're getting; they keep saying it all depends on the track. Right now, we're only in for 1-3 inches, starting tomorrow morning, switching over to rain in the afternoon. That's OK with me, as long as it's not freezing rain.

My GF in Connecticut is not amused. Last time I checked, she's in the 15+ range.

Even Rick agrees that Belize is looking better and better!

Yeah, everyone be safe.

Washington, DC is just getting rain.

Oh, and in addition to toilet paper, don't forget to stock up on kitty litter!

Oh crap......we're now in the 6-inch range (which means we'll probably get between 8 and 10 inches til it's all done. Rick just texted me; he's bringing me into work tomorrow morning and then he's taking Hannah as she has 4-wheel drive.

18 inches predicted here. :hmm: I've been spending the day getting ready so far. I was out early to the grocery store and for gas and it was CRAZY!

Stay safe everyone! :wavey:

Temperatures trending colder and phasing of the two fronts a little more south, so LI/NYC may get more snow than originally forecast.

DC may get some back end snow flurries.

A friend and I rescued Ritz after the 20 inch snow storm in December 2009.  I adopted her in late January 2010, and we bonded in February when we had another 15 inch snow storm and I couldn't go anywhere.  So snow storms are sometimes good....

But yeah, stay safe, and hope you don't lose power (heat).

Hope everyone stays safe!

I am insanely jealous of the snowfall ... my hometown is in the 12-14" range last I checked. :sigh: I miss snow terribly. And real seasons.

It was 84 degrees here yesterday, and pouring rain today in the 50s, and I'm over it.

$#$@#$ Yes we are all getting ready for the storm, supposedly 6 to 10 inches here.  I went for groceries twice this week so I don't run out.  Autumn has plenty of food and litter so she's ok as well.  Sounds like it's going to be a biggie, the only good thing for me is that I don't have to try to get to work.  Getting out of the house is going to be tough enough.  Stay safe everyone.

Biggest storm in years for Ontario apparently. We shall see... I personally wouldn't mind some more snow, but forget having to drive in it!

This kind of weather forecast is what makes me love living in the south.

This is a storm that weatherweenies cannot agree on for our area! Last night, we heard about starting out with freezing rain this morning, starting around 4-5 and then switching over to snow this afternoon. Over 6 inches. On another channel we heard we could get 3-6 inches, again starting early this morning.

We got up this morning to......nothing. The latest is that we might get as much as 4 inches total. Don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining about 4 inches....it could be worse.

Rick brought me into work this morning, just to be on the safe side. We have no idea what's going on.

for everyone in the path of this storm to stay safe, it sounds like it could be really bad in some areas.  One good thing to think about...spring is only about 40 days away so this type of weather can't keep going on too much longer.

Thinking about all of you. I hope your power stays on, especially. Although for Karen it seems too much to hope...isn't it YOUR power that goes out at the drop of a hat? :(

Yeah. I don't even know if it's the same storm system, but we're supposed to get. . .something. . .here on Saturday night/Sunday. They can't decide what. Maybe rain, if it's not too cold, maybe tons of snow, or maybe some rain and some snow--who knows?! I hope there's not too much ice. But I'm pretty sure we won't be getting 2 feet of snow at least---so everybody that is getting that much, stay safe!
