Dogs!?

My boyfriend's family have a few dogs around the house. They are constantly and AGGRESSIVELY barking at me. They're little dogs but it still makes me feel uneasy. I can't even leave my room without them growling and trying to come after me. Is there anything I can do to take control of the situation? I've never had a problem with cats like this at least they have a reason to hate you. :/

Try to make friends. Be a treat dispenser. But some little dogs are just naturally barky if their owners haven't properly taught them not to be. But at least maybe they would bark in a friendly way .

I've found with aggressive small dogs move slowly and don't stare in their eyes or smile, they think you are baring your teeth. Most of them are are just trying to scare you, and if you act scared they'll continue being obnoxious. It's really the OWNERS place to discipline them, and he should let them know their growling and barking will not be tolerated. Be firm and friendly but not aggressive, they have to be taught at what level YOU are supposed to be in the pack. Small dogs seem to be a lot more unpredictable then large ones.
