I don't like Subway at all. I would always pick a pizza place. I eat low-carb so I just eat the meat and veggies and skip the roll.

We don't get sandwiches often. I don't have anything against Subway, but I'm more likely to go to an independent local sandwich shop.

Subway. I love their veggie subs (no cheese, and just mustard for the sauce), and their sweet onion chicken one.  But mostly I always have the veggie one.

I used to always go to Quiznos for our sub sandwiches but the few shops closed that were near our home. I will get subs from Subway but have found that not all shops make them the same. We recently moved and I have yet to try the Subway sandwiches nearby.

I prefer Mr. Sub or the local sub shop near my house. I will eat Subway though because it is cheaper.

Mr Sub.....was to Subway twice in my life, first and last time in the same trip. Service was terrible and the food even worse. I'll even take the Hygaard packaged subs out of the grocery store before going back to Subway. Besides, there is something kinda creepy about a company that uses a sock monkey as a spokesthing.

Subway has a sock monkey? :lol3: Well, I've never seen that ad! Freaky.

I like Subway. I mean, it's basically like making your own sandwich, what is there to dislike? I don't have any problem being bossy with the employees though, right down to exactly how many slices of tomato I want. I suppose if I left it up to them it wouldn't turn out as well, LOL.

Pizza places have subs? Not around here I guess. I like Quiznos, too, I don't like Jimmy John's as much, though. My favorite is Pita Pit, but that's not quite a sandwich, exactly :tongue2:.

Here ya go, one of the ads with that creepy monkey:
The only time I stopped at Subway, my order went pretty much unheard because the little girl was flirting with some guys and I was interrupting her come-on to them. Bread was dry, they charged NOT to cut out the middle of the bun, and put things on that I didn't want. Maybe it has changed but I won't go back.

I prefer a local sandwich shop....they make great sandwiches (not so much their pizza, though).

I like subway but HATE the subs size compared to Wawa or others in area.  If you want extra lettuce or some thing non meat/cheese they are SO stingy and you have to ask a few times.  I haven't had Mikes in years but recently found one close by I need to go to.

Pizza places, as long as they aren't chains. I like the "real" taste of going to one of the local pizza shops and getting a freshly sliced sub. I also like Jersey Mike's more than Subway. They finally shut down the Quiznos down the street from my apartment, which made me sad too.

I'll eat subway for something quick and easy, but its not my favorite.

I am not a fan of Subway.  I think their lettuce tastes funny.  That and they are stingy with their meat, you can see through it!!  Sheetz, if you can believe it, has some decent subs much cheaper than subway.

I like this chain:

One finally opened where I work and they are really good.
