Just found this forum on the recommendation of someone from the Natural Cat Blog. My housemate and I are owned by 3 cats. Gabriel is a flame point Himalayan (known as the foo foo kitty). He likes me because I feed him, but adores my housemate. My special boy is Gideon, a lilac point Siamese (see my avatar). Nicodemus (Nico) is a black Persian boy...moving toward smoke with black points, who loves both of us. We also have 3 dogs, 2 mini dachshunds, and a tiny poodle. All the dogs and cats get along great and play together. The Siamese thinks he is a dog, and piles up with the dachies in the dog bed. He is also the "ringleader" in the house, and directs most of the mischief. He can open every kitchen cabinet and drawer....so all treats and toys are stored in my underwear drawer....the only secure spot in the house. The dogs and cats are all on a ground raw diet, and doing very well.
