Hi new on this site we have a Persian female cat two half years old.Last few days walking with tail down and bum in air and crys when we touch tail .Any one else came across this ? Will take him to vets if no better tomorrow.

Is your female cat spayed? Bum in air is a sign of heat; but I don't think that's the case with a painful tail.
Is she pooping/peeing okay?
If your cat is spayed, then yes, a visit to the vet is in order. Doubly so if she is having trouble peeing/pooping.
