My little girl has been off for the last couple of days.Hiding more than usual, not eating as much, etc. So we took her in to the vet and are waiting for some blood results. She's lost a bit of weight - not tons, but I'm worried about my little girl. Can anyone spare some vibes?

Of course we can spare some vibes!  It's always so worrisome when they aren't themselves
  Keep us posted!

It is a worry when you don't know what's going on. Here are some more vibes for Freya.

Thanks guys.
I feel like such a nervous cat mom sometimes.

So blood tests are all clear. Kidney, liver and pancreas numbers are perfectly normal and no sign of infection. Apparently even her blood cell counts are normal. At this point the vet's thinking some sort of stomach troubles...so my little darling is separated for the next couple days to make sure her litterbox habits are normal. So she'll be living in my craft room for the next few days with her favorite blanket and some toys - Currently she's playing in the storage closet that she's not usually allowed in - segregation doesn't seem to be bothering her. Wendel, on the other hand is completely freaked out that he can't get into the room with her.

 that the results are normal. I'll bet she's enjoying getting into "forbidden territory". Lots of :vibes::vibes::vibes: that she feels better soon!

Lots of
that everything is okay!  Keep your eye on the weight loss thing, can signal trouble.

She's doing good...at this point we suspect constipation. Mike and I were talking and think we may have pinpointed why. Maybe 4 months ago we started adding salmon oil to the cats food to help with dry skin (we'd been havng crazy dry weather and some hairball issues) just before Christmas, we went to buy more oil and petsmart was out, but gave us the one from the dog section of the store saying it was the same concentration. As far as I can tell, it is, but it has some sort of thickener in it so that it can be sqeeezd out a pump top that the cat oil didn't have. That's the only diet change she's had in close to 3 years now, so we're suspecting she's reacting to that. We're actually out of town atm, but my brother is watching her (with instructions not to give her the oil) and says she's already seeming much more normal and eating more. I'll check in with the vet when we get home tomorrow, but fingers crossed that that's all it is.

They seems to be okay...but Freya's always had the most sensitive stomach. I had no idea they could go rancid. Makes sense, though. I don't know why it didn't occur to me. How long can they usually be open/out?

After a few days of consistent eating and litter habits, we're back to very little food and no poop...so my darling is at the vets today fo xrays to see if we can figure out why.

Any vibes would be greatly appreciated.

The good news is that her entire abdomen is fine...no blockage, masses, constipation or anything. The bad news is that it looks like she may have something in her lung and/or on her heart, but they can't tell from the x-rays so once our vet is in and has a look tomorrow (the associate vet was in today) we'll book her in for an ultrasound and find out what's going on. At this point they've told us to try not to speculate because it could be anything from an abscess right on up to something bad. Either way, we'll do what we have to when we get there.

So...please keep us in your thoughts. DH is a mess, Freya's dopey (she's feral at the vets so the had to tranquilize her for x-rays) Wendel's worried about her and I'm trying to hold the whole batch of them together.
