Our cat, Bobby got out the other day and I haven't seen him since.

Usually when he gets out he's back inside after an hour or so. It's not the case this time.

He a large Grey (or Blue depending on the person I think) adult cat. Tailless; possible Manx (he did bunny-hop as a kitten and has the longer hind legs). No collar, tags, or chip.

Also we had moved about a month prior to this and we now live on a very busy street (lots of trucks). If he's not back by tomorrow I'm calling the shelter. I have been checking their site all day since they post info on animals that are brought in that same day (I think).

It's also snowing and is very windy. Which isn't making me feel any better.

I just want my Bobby back.

Aw I'm sorry about your cat Bobby. I used to not see my cat when I was little a day or two at a time but if it ain't like them then I would search the area around ( even though you probably did that) but if you didn't with his favorit snack or toy then you might have. A channce wiith it and check up in the trees he might have gotten scared and climbed up there.

Hope you find your boy, he's beautiful. I haven't seen my boy for the last two days @ my country home, he came today, now we're in an apartment downtown. We often move between these two places.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice.

This isn't his first time out of the house here ad the last time he went missing like this was just before the move (he showed up the day we moved).

He's also one of those cats who are EXTREMELY picky when it comes to his food. He won't eat it just anywhere (even when starving and desperate), and he doesn't have any favorite treats. He doesn't play with toys. Well, not the normal cat toys. His only "toy" we had to give up two years ago because she was too unstable. She was a Chihuahua.

He's lazy, sleeps a lot, not much of a cuddler, but boy was he ever patient with our daughter. He's never bit nor scratched her no matter what she does to him (she's now in a biting phase that we're trying to stop).

I really miss him.

IzzyBees, I am thinking of you and Bobby. Feralvr's links are the kind of thing I want to have right in front of me if the day comes that I lose another pet, since I tend to lose some of my common sense when I am that frightened and worried.

A few miles from here a house kitty recently escaped, was missing for six weeks, and then returned back home. This was in temperatures from 15 to 30 F and snow. Many indoor kitties can be very tough when they need to be.

Come back, Bobby.

He's back!! Showed up on our back porch at 6 in the morning half starved and cold. Luckily the baby woke me up or else he would have been out there meowing for hours!

I was a little angry at him at the time, especially since he walked around the house meowing for about 30 minutes after eating. I am NOT a morning person!
Still, I am very happy he's home.
