So I made a new video today of Magnus in his cat tree, so you can see him in all his dark fluffy glory ;)

And there is this from a few weeks ago as well

(wait for the bunny hop at the end of the video, he does this all the time, it's so cute)

What a cutie!

Is that bedcover a woolen Jamavar (Indian)?  If so, I have a really similar one.

Hi Mani

I'm not sure, it was a wedding present. It is wool and really nice and came from an upscale shop (it was a present from the parents of my husband's best man, who run a high end gift and antiques type shop). So I guess it's possible but I really don't know. Magnus likes it though! ;)

EDIT

Is yours two-sided? The other side of ours is more of a green color?

It's definitely a jamavar.  Traditionally made in kashmir.  The colours will alternate on each side.. check it carefully and you'll see what I mean.

I have a heap.. I'm a bit of an addict.. Usually they are shawls, and there are stunning ones with a kind of interrupted weave, so that part of the shawl is very very fine and then the dense pattern begins again, normally around the edges.  I'll take some shots of them for you.

yes they do alternate! I looked up jamavar on the internet and wow. I always did like that bed cover but I hadn't realized they were a specific "thing'. There are some gorgeous ones out there. I've bookmarked a few that I may pick up at some point! Thanks for the education
