okay i'm wanting to get all my cats n dog up to date on vaccines

1 is it okay to vaccinate 1 month before the due date of vaccs? due date may 5th 2013 got vaccs on may 5th 2012 <example date.

2 what one is better for cats n dogs the 1yr shots or 3yr shots whats the difference besides the yrs <i'm asking because i'm kinda getting tired of paying for vacs every yr -_-

3 does the 3yr have a speciel vac tag stating its a 3yr vac or not?

4 is there a 2 yr vac?

5 what shots are required ? i know rabies is

i asked almost all vets this question and they goe can't say its medical -_- WHAT???

so i'm asking here

i know i'm getting a pain in the but with these questions i ask one almost every 3 days it seems my brain wont shut off

When was the last time they were vaccinated? Honestly, if it's been in the last 5 years I wouldn't bother, except for rabies, for legal reasons.

Except for PureVax, the "3-year" and the "1-year" vaccines are exactly the same. So get the 3-year (or PureVax if you can). Yes, if the vet gives the 3-year vaccine they'll give you a certificate saying it's good for 3 years.

For cats, the regular vaccine other than rabies is FVCRP. For dogs it's DHLPP.

My vet requires proof of current rabies vaccine before he will give a three year one.  Don't know why.  So at her wellness check two weeks ago, she received the three year rabies vaccination, as well as the FVCRP vaccine.  The latter is required by my pet insurance company; the former, by law.

It would be best to spend the money on getting those last 2 spayed/neutered, if that hasn't been done already. The vet will likely want them to be vaccinated before or at the time of spay/neuter, so they'll be done, and then you can save up to get the rest of them vaccinated. If they've all had at least one booster after 6 months of age it's just not an urgent thing.

I was going to do them 2 first and my vet requires vaccinated first and FeLv /FIV tested before any spaying n neutarding so i know that part
