Hello, I am a very new owner to cat/kitten. After being raised with dogs all of my life, my partner and I decided to take on 2 little kittens that has been rescued ferals. We have adopted a ginger cat and a black cat, species unknown. Our ginger cat is very indepantant and will only tolerate a pat if food is involved. He has become some what cheeky and has starred to claw and bite.
Our beautiful black cat is very shy. He will come up occasionally for a pat and he purs so loudly. He is very patient with my 7 year old, as long as she pats him, unlike the ginger!
So I have made the transition from dog owner to cat owner, and I am very excited
