Last night Mattie vomited her food after eating. She seemed fine otherwise. There was no vomiting during the night hours. This morning she has vomited her food again after eating. She spends the daytime hours in an outside enclosed fenced area. I checked the yard for signs of partially eaten frogs, birds, etc, and found nothing. I cleaned up the vomit and it was only the food she had just eaten. Need prayers for her. I have not yet decided what to do.

Sending those famous TCS vibes
.  My girl ate a cricket the other day and tossed it up
.  And she eats raw!  Some people feed crickets to their cats, so I couldn't figure out why she would throw it up, especially since she is already used to eating raw food.

I don't supposed this was a new bag (if you feed kibble) or maybe a new variety or new lot # if you feed canned?  Or was it 2 difference types of canned for dinner and breakfast?   When mine are feeling well, I give them a little plain yogurt and sometimes that helps.

She eats Blue Buffalo kibble and Meow Mix wet. She ate the same thing both meals. The Meow Mix is to mix in Lysine for her eye situation. I called the vet office and spoke to his wife. She told me keep Mattie by herself on the porch and try giving her some chicken broth through the day. If she still vomits they will see her this afternoon. If not and she vomits her evening meal I will take her in tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day my vet opens at three and stays late.

Both my cats will randomly vomit sometimes but it's usually just the once in a day and that's it. Was it a brand new can of the Meow Mix? Could be that it's a bit off.
What about plants she could have chewed?
I hope it's something simple like that. :vibes:

Yes, it was new Meow mix can. As for plants, nothing different in the yard than ever before.

Mattie would never drink any of the chicken broth as recommended earlier by the vet's wife. For her supper meal, I skipped the lysine and Meow Mix and only fed her the dry kibble, which is Blue Buffalo. So far she has kept it all down.
