So glad to hear the biopsy was negative! Also that you're not in too much pain. Best wishes for a quick recovery.

You made my day and made me smile with your "negative" results. Such wonderful news. You should make a big picture and frame it with the word "negative" on it.

Mike told me that the surgery took about an hour longer than expected. They also biopsied the sentinel node which also negative. The surgeon told him they got it all!

The pain last night was horrible before I left the hospital. They gave me some morphine. They sent me home with vicodin which I take two every six hours. I also have antibiotics and a stool softener. Mike is waiting on me hand and foot. He takes care of the drain and everything. He finally realizes that I only lost a boob and that I will be Ok. I still have a long road ahead of me but with God and support of my church and friends we will get through this.

Catkiki,

Feel better soon.In 1988 my mother in law passed away from breast cancer with both of her breast gone. My son was only 4 and daughter was 8. My son doesn't remember her at all which is very sad.  I wish you well and stay in touch with us all.

I am doing OK I guess. I still am having some pain but that is to be expected. It has lessened some. It is funny that when I had my gall bladder removed, I didn't take any pain pills but now I them every six hours. Maybe it is because this surgery was more invasive? But anyway, I am on the mend and trying to move about more.

I am extremely relieved to hear about the negative results, hun. :hugs: I can only imagine the pain from the aftermath of that surgery. Keep yourself comfortable and take those pain pills as directed by your doctor. You have been through so much, my prayers are with you. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Interesting, That's something else you & my mom have in common besides the breast cancer, she also had her gall bladder removed.

I have no prior knowledge of your medical problems, given that I've not been here, but I wanted to say that I'm glad to hear you are home and well and congratulations on a negative lymph node biopsy. Our family has also been affected by breast cancer, so we know what a rough road it can be - but with the positive outlook you have, you can overcome anything! I wish you the VERY, very best and a speedy recovery xxxx
