How Do I Change My Avatar Picture?

What is an avatar?

Your avatar is the image located alongside your username. It shows up whenever you post on TheCatSite.com, usually at the header section of your post.


When you sign up, you can choose from a few generic avatars that we have, or upload an image of your own. If you sign up via Facebook, the system usually grabs your Facebook avatar and uses that one.

You can change your avatar at any point in time. Here's a step-by-step guide -

1. In the general navigation menu, near the top of the page, click where it says "My Profile"


2. In your profile page, under your current avatar, click where it says "Replace Avatar"


3. This pop-up window should come up -


You now can use one of these two tabs to upload your image. If you choose "Browse Computer" and then click "Browse", you can then select an image from your hard drive. If you choose the "Image URL" tab, you can insert a link to an image (it needs to be directly to an image and not to a page) anywhere on the web, and the system will grab this image. This is useful if you want to get images from your favorite image storage site.


That's it really! Just hit submit and voila! You have yourself a brand new avatar!

Sooo i cant replace my avatar on my phone?

My phone allows me to change this site into desktop version. The option to change it, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of this site and then just click Desktop (it's a small grey rectangle box)
