Cat sleigh bed re purposed from old cat house :)

Hi Everyone

So today I realized that both Smokie and Bandit are too big to fit inside their cube houses anymore, so I set to work on a project.

First I removed all the PVC piping and painted it bed, then attached it into a frame shape.

Secondly, I got old rainbow bed sheet I had and an old curtain with ruffle and covered an old pillow with it for the mattress, and then I had 2 small unused pillows that I covered- one with white and one with the rainbow leftover....... I then attached the scratching posts in lieu of a headboard or footboard, (they came with the cube house originally) and voila! The connectors were also left over. Here are a few pictures

 Total Cost: $0.00!!! ZERO!! I had all supplies already including the spray paint, bed sheets and pillows!! Smokie seems to love it, Bandit has not discovered it yet

You did well!  Very imaginative!  And Smokie sure does seem to like it.

Bandit got on it later (have not uploaded the pics yet_) but he took a good 5 hour nap on it-, laying his head on the pillow!!

You're so very talented! I am featuring this on our main page for a while!

That is so awesome! Terrific re-use of available materials and can't beat the cost. I love how smug Smokie looks in the 2nd pic.

Very cool!  Mine have the exact same cube but they still enjoy it.

Mine did too- until smokie got stuck in the hole one day LOL I had to cut him out but kept the PVC just in case.. and this is the "in case" project
