Anti-freeze to have bad taste added for safety!

It is widely known that many cats are poisoned every year because they can't resist the taste of antifreeze. Now,in all 50 states, manufacturers of anti-freeze will be adding a bitter flavoring agent to prevent this from happening any more!

That is FABULOUS news!

....Ever since Jalindal's Mackerel, and carwashcat's feral colony....

I'm so glad this is going to be done, like the garlic smell added to propane. FINALLY.

I often think of Mackerel, and shed tears for what she and Jalindal went through, but I thought it was established that Mackerel had FIP? I still hurt over that, her first experience with a cat was so traumatic, but oh how she stuck by her baby and did everything she could for her.

I remember the feral poisoning, too. It's astounding how much evil there is in this world.

Thankfully this change will prevent this type of poisoning, both deliberate and accidental, not only in cats but dogs and children too.

Of course the stuff should be kept out of reach, anyway, just like all poisons.

Definitely about time. Such a simple solution could save many lives. Why has it taken so long to do?!
